Set in the heart of picturesque countryside close to Broadway and Chipping Campden, secluded in the depths of the beautiful Cotswold countryside, you will find Bowers Hill Farm, a large secluded Edwardian Farmhouse set within 40 acres.
As you approach the farmhouse, you immediately take in the countryside with mature lime trees lining the drive and horses with their foals at foot, the odd sheep and chickens that will lay your fresh eggs for breakfast!
Don’t overlook our medieval fields -‘ridge & furrow’ – that date back to the days of strip farming ploughed with oxen.
Our guests say how much they enjoy our most perfect setting, deep in the Cotswolds countryside, away from it all, just the historic/agricultural connections dating back to the Bronze Age.
There is evidence of old gas lamps (no longer in use!) and lovely antiques set alongside high quality modern comforts.
The Farmers Breakfast is enormous and is in addition to a wide choice of cereals, homemade bread & preserves, yoghurt, and fruit – we also cater for vegetarians and other dietary requirements. We use our own produce and locally grown food whever we can.
Breakfasts can be taken in the dining room, complete with large inglenook fireplace and 18th Century Cheshire dresser with clock. Alternatively, just gaze at the wonderful Cotswolds Hills surrounding our location and breakfast in our fabulous 40′ conservatory.
All our bedrooms have ensuite facilities with colour TV, radio/alarm clock, hairdryer, and tea & coffee making facilities, as well as those little nic-naks to make your stay more comfortable. We live in a most desirable location with panoramic views in every direction.
We do cater for children, but only those who are well behaved and we have a virtually sound-proof family room which is incredibly spacious with a lot of toys and videos etc for pre-schoolers.. If you are tall please let us know so that we can give you the most appropriate rooms with big beds, high ceilings and spacious showers.
Help collecting the eggs, a little stroll down the drive to pet the horses – can you feel the fresh air in your lungs already? We have an abundance of wildlife on the farm and foxes, pheasants, woodpeckers, badger, rabbits, deer, and herons, can be seen from time-to-time.
