Hillside Cottage, Upper Clattsmore Farm. Tim and Anne Gittins invite you to stay on the lower slopes of Bredon Hill in rural Worcestershire, by the border with Gloucestershire. Hillside Cottage is a newly built extension to our farmhouse. Surrounded by 60 acres of our own farmland, we have a working beef farm.

From the south-facing balcony, guests can watch our cows with their suckler calves or just relax and enjoy the views of the beautiful countryside.

Children friendly

Our cottage is the ideal place for children, being ¾ mile from the main road with an enclosed garden. Children love to help with the calf-feeding and egg collection.

Accommodation

A self-contained and purpose built unit, which offers two bedrooms. The main bedroom has a double bed and a door which opens out onto the balcony. The second bedroom contains adult size bunk beds. The bathroom is also upstairs and has a shower only. The downstairs features a new fully-equipped kitchen adjacent to a dining area and comfortable lounge with patio doors leading to it’s own enclosed garden.

Location

The cottage is just a short distance from the M5 junctions 7 & 9 and makes an ideal base for exploring the Malvern hills and the Cotswolds. Eckington is just two miles away, with its black and white houses, general stores and two public houses with excellent restaurants.

The nearest market towns are Pershore and Tewkesbury, about 5 miles away, with their historic abbeys. The cathederal cities of Gloucester and Worcester are 30 minutes away by car and Cheltenham Spa is about twenty minutes. Bredon Hill has a host of lovely villages surrounding it’s base with more picture post-card houses and welcoming inns and pubs. The hill is criss-crossed with footpaths which lead to the summit where views across to the Malverns and the Cotswolds can be enjoyed on a good day.
